“Sexual violence has no place in the world. By standing together, we can make a true difference in eliminating it.”

Lauren Grogan is the Executive Director of The Jensen Project where she manages day-to-day communications along with the recruitment and development of strategic partnerships designed to fuel the end of sexual violence, reduce vulnerabilities, and improve outcomes for survivors of trafficking and trauma.

Bringing over a decade of experience in brand and business development, marketing, messaging, graphic design, event management, and social influence, Lauren is proud to leverage her passions for public relations and social enterprises to propel change in the anti-trafficking and victim rights’ sectors. Prior to joining The Jensen Project, Lauren served as the Marketing Director, Brand Manager, and Events Manager in the health and wellness industry at national and international businesses with a wide array of responsibilities.

Devoted to excellence, Lauren has a reputation for success in scaling businesses based on her keen ability to communicate with any audience, engage consumers, and ensure customer satisfaction. Throughout her career, she has managed creative teams, cast vision and implemented strategies to scale operations and revenue, developed brands, executed national and international events and tradeshows, managed multi-million dollar marketing budgets with concentrations in print and digital advertising, and recruited celebrity endorsers. Putting her ambition to the test, Lauren once launched a bold initiative to rebrand a successful business with the goal of maintaining current clients while targeting new retail opportunities. She has synced her own creativity with every project, resulting in the development of an influencer program involving over 30 athletes, and the launch of a brand-extension which generated 2 million in excess revenue within 12 months.

In her current role, Lauren is responsible for creating and managing grant proposals for The Jensen Project’s multi-million dollar assets as well as the funding and development of more than 30 unique partnerships. She monitors and evaluates their projects, building capacity and leveraging resources to support their operations as needed.

In addition to her work with partners, Lauren drafts press releases, disseminates donor communications, manages external vendors, develops and maintains the website and social media platforms, and plans and implements special events.

Lauren holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications and marketing from the University of North Texas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is certified in Trust-Based Relational Intervention and is dedicated to creating a brighter tomorrow for all women who have experienced abuse, trauma, adversity, or exploitation. Most importantly, she is an ally and a connector of people who strives to help others discover their potential by committing her personal time to supporting and mentoring survivors in job readiness and self-efficacy.
