Janet Jensen is the Founder and CEO of The Jensen Project where she leverages her strengths in business, innovation, and creativity to cultivate opportunities for individuals and organizations dedicated to empowering survivors and reducing exploitation. A lifelong advocate against sexual violence and exploitation, and a self-proclaimed human investor, Janet strategically aligns stakeholders and cultivates impactful partnerships to create cultural and systemic change, improving the outcomes for all victims of sexual violence. 

Lauren Grogan

Lauren Grogan, MBA, is the Executive Director at The Jensen Project where she manages communications, special events, and media opportunities, along with the recruitment and development of strategic partnerships. With a decade of experience in development, management, and communications, Lauren leverages her passions for public relations and social enterprises to support the grant recipients with customized resources and capacity-building initiatives.

Sarah Johnston

Sarah Johnston, MSW, is Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Jensen Project, where she leads the work on policy change and implementation. Sarah brings her experience as a social worker and anti-trafficking advocate to provide linkages to tactical projects to our funded partners and works to broadly move the anti-trafficking field and The Jensen Project forward through innovation and operational support. In addition, Sarah oversees a portfolio of grantees focused on impacting policy change and implementation within the anti-trafficking space.

Sloane Sander is the  Operations Manager at The Jensen Project where she oversees internal operations and supports the day-to-day systems that keep the organization running efficiently and effectively. In her role, she manages organizational processes, coordinates logistics across initiatives and events, and helps ensure seamless collaboration between team members, partners, and programs. With a strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset, Sloane plays a key role in supporting the organization’s mission-driven work behind the scenes.

Malikha Mayes is the Grant Manager at The Jensen Project and has been a member of our team since April 2024, though she has been working in the nonprofit sector for over five years. Leveraging her background in audience and community development in the Arts and Culture sector, Malikha equips grant partners with the resources and support they need to serve survivors of sex trafficking. Her dedication to fostering meaningful connections aligns perfectly with The Jensen Project’s commitment to collaboratively winning the fight against sexual violence.
 

Briannah Schaff

Briannah Schaff, MGA, is the Grant Manager at The Jensen Project, joining the team in October 2024 after working in international higher education and political development. She brings a strong foundation in cross-cultural competency and relationship management, which she now uses to support and empower grant partners serving survivors of sex trafficking. Briannah’s passion for fostering meaningful connections across the field aligns seamlessly with The Jensen Project’s mission to break down silos in the fight against sexual violence.

Alina-Noel is the Marketing Manager at The Jensen Project, bringing more than seven years of experience in social media strategy, branding, and digital storytelling. At The Jensen Project, Alina leads marketing and communications efforts that amplify survivor-centered initiatives, strengthen partner visibility, and expand public awareness around issues of commercial sexual exploitation and gender-based violence
