GrantTank 2026: A Focused Investment Approach

This approach allows us to deepen our investment in alignment, partnership, and long-term impact with a focused group of organizations whose work reflects our current priorities. While this year’s cycle will not be open broadly, our commitment to supporting the field and building collective impact remains strong.

What is GrantTank?

Our GrantTank program is a funding opportunity and a think tank for anti-trafficking nonprofit non-governmental organizations. By strategically partnering with organizations that work with adult female sex trafficking survivors, The Jensen Project will fund selected programs in the movement and host gatherings for leadership of chosen organizations, so they can overcome the silos common in the movement. Gatherings can lead to collaboration between organizations, inspiring new policies, and tweaks in programming to better serve survivors of sex trafficking. We only choose the best of the best organizations to participate in GrantTank, and we spotlight and promote our GrantTank leaders for their expertise in the field.

Driving Change Since 2021

Since launching in 2021, GrantTank has been The Jensen Project’s premier program, infusing more than $11 million into the anti-trafficking sector to support innovative work across technology, housing, and economic empowerment.

Over five cycles, GrantTank has served as both an investment and learning platform—supporting diverse, high-impact organizations while generating insights about what drives effective, sustainable change.

A few of these learnings are captured in the 2022 GrantTank Insights Report, which reflects key takeaways from prior cycles and continues to inform how we approach partnership, evaluation, and program design.

GrantTank’s Current Funding Approach

Our flagship program, GrantTank, is rooted in strengthening survivor-centered work through funding and professional resources.

For the 2026 GrantTank cycle, we are reinvesting into existing partnerships with an invitation-only model, engaging select organizations that provide services in housing and economic empowerment or offer proprietary technology to advance the field. This approach allows us to maintain the momentum we’ve built with these organizations and to more accurately evaluate program effectiveness.

Collaboration is at the heart of The Jensen Project. This model prioritizes long-term partnership and shared learning, with an emphasis on leveraging collective data and resources to strengthen the sector.

This work continues beyond a single funding cycle, and we look forward to staying connected as we learn and grow together.
