After serving more than a decade of sex trafficking, founder Annie Lobert had a vision to help those left behind in the sex industry.
Pink Chair, formerly known as Hookers for Jesus, offers transitional support to at-risk women who want to escape the commercial sex industry. This can include anything from providing spiritual, emotional and physical support and healing as these women work to leave their past behind and embrace a life of purpose and destiny.
After experiencing being trafficked in Hawaii, Minneapolis and Las Vegas, Annie was no stranger to the darkness of the sexual exploitation world. After suffering a drug overdose, she had an epiphany that this was not the way life should be.
Annie has been working with victims of sex trafficking for over 17 years now, and has seen the effects it has when a women initially chooses the Sex Industry as a job, only later to become trapped within it with no foreseeable way out.
After fighting her way out of the sex industry, she started a grass roots movement to help the others she had left behind in Las Vegas. What started out as a dream has now turned into a full blown ministry with housing, training, and healing for victims.
In 2005, Pink Chair was founded by Annie, and then later in 2007 with a dream and very hard work, Destiny House was opened. With Destiny House being opened Annie is able to meet women where they are and give them as safe place to land when they choose to leave the Sex Industry and have nowhere left to go.
Through Survivor Leadership, the Destiny House program provides long-term restorative care for adult survivors of sex trafficking. Funding from The Jensen Project enhances the existing property and provides support for sustainability planning.

A yearly grant program, funding up to $2 Million to advance economic empowerment and housing opportunities for agencies who serve adult female survivors of human trafficking.
